CGA Composite (Grayscale) Video Resolution

CGA Composite (Grayscale) - 40 x 25 (Text, grayscale)

When CGA cards are connected to a composite monitor or t.v., it's possible to disable the color burst signal which will display the image in grayscale instead of color. This was intended to improve the image quality on black & white displays. With an RGB monitor (or with later video standards which did not support composite displays) disabling color burst had no effect so the image would still display in color.
