PixelatedArcade is a museum of vintage video games and computer/game console hardware. The goal of the project is to provide useful details
(such as release dates, publisher and developer information, and technical information) and visual information (such as box scans, screenshots, and photos) on the vast array of
games that have been released for home computers starting in the 1970's. PixelatedArcade has an emphasis on games for the IBM PC and compatible line of computers, but also covers other popular
systems from the 80's including the Apple II, Atari 400/800/XL/XE, Atari 5200, Commodore 64, Intellivision, arcade games, pinball, and more.
Who is behind PixelatedArcade?
Servo
Servo has been collecting and documenting classic video games for over 20 years. He is the programmer and designer behind PixelatedArcade as well as the primary contributor of
the site's content. Also be sure to check out his other project,
PixelatedImages, which is a catalog of his photography.
Ledberg42
Ledberg42 was new to classic gaming when starting this project, but before long became a veteran. She has provided invaluable support and insight for the PixelatedArcade project
while having fun finding games she never played
and revisiting ones she grew up with as well as contributing content to the site, managing the project, testing code changes, and supplying additional creative ideas.
