Indicates games where the instruction manual or other included documentation was required in some manner in order to run the game. Commonly this took the form of having to provide a word or phrase when given a particular location from the documentation such as a page, line number, and word number in a sentence. Some games also had illustrations or other information scattered throughout which players would need to lookup information about.
