Atari Paddle Controllers could be used with the Atari 2600 game console or Atari 8-bit computers. The paddles came in pairs allowing two controllers to use a single joystick port; this allowed up to four players at once on the Atari 2600 and some Atari computers, or up to 8 players on Atari computers which featured 4 joystick ports.
