IBM PS/2 Speech Adapter is part of the category Sound Hardware Supported.
The IBM PS/2 Speech Adapter is a sound card released by IBM similar to the IBM PCjr Speech Attachment. Instead of a PCjr sidecar, it is an ISA card which included a breakout box containing a built in speaker, volume control, headphone connectors, and a microphone input. Sound was produced by TI TMS5220C and Motorola MC3418L chips for LPC speech synthesis and CVSD sound.
