Physical Fitness for the TI-99/4A
Physical Fitness is an exercise and training program released by
Texas Instruments for the
TI-99/4 and TI-99/4A computers. The program is designed to help users plan and maintain
an exercise routine; it includes the ability to set varying skill levels and various exercises
that can be added to a customized routine. For each exercise the program provides instructions,
simple demonstration animations, and tracks time and repetitions. Exercises included fall into the
categories of either calisthenics (to loosen and strengthen muscles) or circulatory conditioning
(such as running in place and jumping to raise heart rate). Variations in the programs are included
for both men and women.
