Commodore VIC-20 version of Super Hangman
Super Hangman is a computerized version of the well known spelling game released
in 1982 for the Commodore VIC-20 computer by
UMI.
The gameplay follows the usual formula; a random word is selected by the computer and spaces are shown for
each letter in the word. Players need to guess the word one letter at a time; if the letter guessed is in the
word it is shown in the appropriate location. If not, one part of the hangman is drawn. The player wins
by completing the word, or if the player enters 10 wrong guesses the complete hangman is drawn and the game is over.
Super Hangman includes a predefined list of words and also allows players to create their own
word list and save it to tape.
