Links Championship Course Add-Ons
The Links Championship Course Add-Ons series contains additional courses for use with
Links: The Challenge of Golf series golf games.
Due to the complexity of the game data, the earlier games in the series did not include a course
architect feature like many other golf games of the era; the course add-ons allowed players
to play additional courses besides those included with the game. The add-ons typically recreated
a well known professional golf course in great detail.
Many of the add-on courses were released in both VGA and Super VGA versions. While both versions were compatible with all versions of Links, the Super VGA version provided more detailed graphics when used with Links 386 Pro or later games in the series.
